Call #: 000402

Just after midnight station 30 in Bangor Borough was dispatched to a dwelling fire. A fire officer from a neighboring station was passing by and updated Northampton County with a porch on fire extending into the house. Once on scene first arriving officers requested tanker 39 for additional water. Deputy and Captain 39 made the response in Tanker 39 shortly after dispatch. Once on scene it was decided that the tanker was not needed but manpower was. The crew from 39 made entry on the structure working their way up to the 3rd floor where heavy fire conditions were found. Crews from 39 operated on scene for aprox. 3 hours as a special service company handling engine company and truck company operations on the fire ground.
